Duwara Consciousness Foundation
We are a 501(c)(3) non-profit with one simple goal: to serve one another.
Whether it is with nutritious vegetarian food, fresh water, a patient ear, a reasonable voice or adequate shelter, we aim to serve all those in need regardless of what they look like, what culture they come from or what path they travel.
The Shower trailer program is North Carolina Bound!
We are committed to supporting communities just outside Asheville, NC, which have been profoundly affected. With limited government aid, few organizations have reached these areas due to the widespread devastation in Asheville. Each day, we’re offering hot showers and laundry services to hundreds of families who have lost their homes, belongings, and loved ones. They still lack access to clean water for basic needs, relying on supplies delivered three times a week, while downed power lines leave them dependent on generators for electricity.
Although timelines can change unexpectedly, we’ve been informed that water and power may take several weeks to be restored in this area. Please take a moment to watch the video below to better understand the situation. We are grateful to everyone who has already contributed to this vital cause. As time goes on, our funds are dwindling, so any additional donations would be greatly appreciated. Every bit helps—thank you!
We are reaching out to you because we believe our community can continue to make a meaningful difference in the aftermath of Hurricane Helene’s devastating impact. This effort goes beyond rebuilding; it’s about restoring hope and demonstrating our solidarity as a San Diego-based community and organization. Together, we can uplift those who have suffered great losses. Your continued generosity is essential in helping us support these communities still in recovery. Please consider donating—every contribution, no matter how small, can bring hope to those affected. Thank you for standing with us and supporting those who need it most.

Some People Are So Poor, All They Need Is Money
Inspired by the unmitigated selflessness of Mother Theresa, Ravi Singh (Khalsa Aid), Martin Luther King Jr., The Dalai Lama and Pope Francis, DCF looks to serve the too-often neglected members of our community of humanity— to be the voice for the voiceless, to honor the meek and shelter the poor.
Watch the video to see founders Davinder Singh and Harisimran Kaur explain their vision behind DCF (learn more about them).
